How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
Nova lift is a minimally invasive surgical procedure. Treatments are done in-office under local anesthetic to keep you comfortable throughout. Treatment times can vary depending on the area being treated and the number of threads needed to address your individual concerns. Most patients can expect to be in and out of their appointment within the hour.
What Results Will I See?*
You’ll see an initial improvement to lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity right away. Nova threads are slightly thicker than traditional threads and contain ‘barbs’ which help produce longer-lasting results. As the threads begin to dissolve over 3-6 months, additional lifting occurs due to collagen stimulation. Patients can expect results from Nova thread lift procedures to last upwards of 6-12 months.
Is There Any Downtime?
Thread lift procedures have very little downtime. In many cases, you’ll be able to return to daily activities immediately with minimal restrictions. Patients report minor swelling and soreness several days following their procedure. Vigorous exercise should be avoided for the first week as thread lifts settle.
